3rd Stage Tools

Gate2Start aims to assist researchers at the initial stage of applied research. At the same time, there have been several projects and initiatives, e.g. Gate2Growth, that aim at the third stage (after the proof of concept). These initiatives have also provided toolkits to help researchers form their Business Plan. In order to provide researchers with a full set of tools and support through the whole process from research to commercialisation, we also provide guidance in order for researchers to choose the appropriate existing tools – we call them 3rd stage tools.

Business Plan Guide : This guide assists researchers to form a concrete business plan. The guide explains the different sections of a business plan and the key points in each one of them. The frequently asked questions (FAQs) at the end of this guide, cover a broad spectrum; from what to be aware of while writing your BP, to explanations of tools and methods of business environment analysis.

Business Plan Evaluation Example : This tool presents a fictive business plan and due diligence of the business plan. In this way, the reader can understand how potential investors look at business plans and assess the feasibility of it.
